Hello everyone!
Saturday September 4th:
Second last QV Outdoor Market!
Our final market day is only one weekend away! To usher in the month of September, we have ordered some crisp fall weather for Ottawa’s most vibrant community gathering.
Back from last year, Moulin Noir will begin their jazzy performance at 930AM on the QV Stage. At 10AM they will take a short break to allow their friend, mayoral candidate, Clive Doucet to address the crowd. Keeping things going on the stage for the remainder of the day is Cody Macmillan and his guitar wizardry.
As a very special additional performance, Quartier Vanier Farmers Market is also proud to announce the return of the nationally renowned Tambor de Panama dance troupe. “We so enjoyed performing here last summer and are delighted to have been asked to come back!” says, director and choreographer Professor Daisy Espinosa of Montreal, where the performers will travel from this weekend. Daisy and her troupe will take over the market site at noon.
As always the QV promises the freshest local produce including an assortment of vegetables from Foster’s Family Farm, a variety of garlic products from King’s Creek Garlic and all things apples from Hall’s Apple Market..
Don’t forget to take advantage of our chef demo, free parking, bike racks and our weekly draw to win a basket of free produce at the QV table!
The market doors are open this Saturday from 9 AM ‘til 2 PM At the corner of Montreal and Hannah. For a complete list of vendors and more information, go to vanierbia.com/market.html |
